Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and amend it.

Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective/incorrect items must be submitted within 3 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 10 days after the estimated delivery date. 

In the event that you need to make a return, email us at info@bookishlittledragon.com within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return request. Please include photos of the item and details of the claim. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

Bookish Little Dragon does not offer refunds for returns, only exchange in the form of a credit note. We don’t cover the cost of postage for your return (unless the item is faulty or has been damaged in transit).

If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Once we receive the item, it takes us 2-14 business days (our processing time) to process the credit note. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Personal items such as drinkware (i.e mugs etc.) are also non-returnable for hygienic reasons.

Exchanges & Cancellations
Due to the nature of our products being made to order, we do not accept returns due to change of mind, exchange or cancellations. We do not accept cancellations for ‘accidental’ orders. Once an order is placed, that is final and will be processed straight away. 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
